The Petřín Lookout Tower was directly inspired by the Eiffel Tower in Paris. It was built by the Czech Tourist Club, which had attended the Exposition Universelle in 1889 in Paris and decided to construct a similar tower in Prague.

Žižkov TV Tower is 216m tall and is the highest construction in Prague. The observation cabins are located in 93m and in good weather the range of vision can be up to 100km. The tower was built in 1985 to 1992. It was designed by the architect Václav Aulický and the structural engineer Jiří Kozák.

On 25 July 1891, a funicular up to Petřín Hill began operating, using a water-balance drive system. It ceased operating in 1916 due to World War I. The funicular didn't resume operation until 1932, when it was also converted to an electrical drive system. It served the public reliably for over 30 years.

The highest mountain of Moravia (1492 m above sea level). On te top there had been built view-tower in the year 1912, but it was removed in the year 1959. Today stay on the top of Praděd new 145 m high television tower from the year 1970 with TV sender and view place in the height 40 m.
