Thecastle is located on the left bank of the river Ohře in a ten hectare, dendrological very valuable English park from the 1820s and 1870s, in which 220 tree species from all around the world can be found. There is also the sala terrena with a gloriette in the palace grounds, which has Jan Brokof's carvings from the 1680s.
Even though the Empire style of the Boskovice Chateau dates back to the 1820’s and 1830’s, historical roots of this building can be found almost a century and a half earlier.
